报告人： Dr. Prof. Sergey A. Babin

Sergey A. Babin, was born in East Kazakhstan region (USSR), in 1961. He graduated with honor from Physical Department at Novosibirsk State University in 1983. He received his PhD thesis in 1990, He received his DSc thesis in 2003. Now he is head of Fiber Optics Laboratory at the Institute of Automation & Electrometry SB RAS in 2007. He is also the Deputy Director of the Institute of Automation & Electrometry SB RAS in 2009. He is the corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) in 2011, and Member of OSA and IEEE Photonics societies. His research interests are focused on ultralong fiber lasers, random fiber lasers, nonlinear fiber optics, short pulses.
